Bio
With over ten years of tutoring experience, she specializes in math content courses. The theme for the work she does is simple: She aims to understand the student before understanding their mathematical knowledge.
Taya received her Bachelor’s degree from Agnes Scott College. Taya's compassion led her to promote academic success within non-profit organizations. For over two years, she served as a volunteer tutor with the Global Village Project and the Andrew P. Stewart Center. Taya's diligence opened the door to transition into math supplemental instruction. She worked within Atlanta Public Schools, technical colleges, and a mental health facility. In each location, she created a safe learning environment where students could make mistakes, be challenged, and GROW every step of the way.
Taya offers education as a journey and a beautiful experience. “Who” is pouring into you and “what” is being poured in matters. She lives this out through the books she reads, her yoga practices, and bonding with close family and friends. Taya looks forward to pouring into more clients.
You are invited to be apart of a memorable experience!
